It is important that you have the correct frames to suit your individual eyecare needs. You need to feel that you have made the best choice and that Long & Pickard have given you the best advice as to how this fits in with your corrective lenses.

At Long & Pickard, we constantly strive to have a broad cross section of frame styles to meet every need including designer collections and sports frames. We get excited about spectacle frames and we are always looking for something that little bit different, out of the ordinary and exciting!

Amongst others, Long & Pickard supply frames from the following designer collections: Silhouette, Face A Face, Pro Design, Paul & Joe, and Jaguar.

Frame Pricing & Policy

Long & Pickard will never knowingly be undersold for any branded spectacle frame as long as we can independently verify its price.

If you can’t see what you want we will do our best to obtain any spectacle frame available at a competitive price. As an independent practice we are not confined to supplying frames from certain manufacturers.

Please remember that when you buy a spectacle frame from us you are also buying our service and aftercare in the dispensing of your spectacles. That is why in this practice only half the cost of your spectacles is eligible for Value Added Tax (VAT).

Guarantee

If you have any problems with your spectacles we want to deal with them cheerfully, promptly and efficiently.

Because we spend time initially explaining and discussing what we are trying to achieve, together with ensuring that this matches your expectations, we encounter very few after sales problems. However, if you experience difficulties with your spectacles please let us know as we take a great deal of pride in our service and we want your spectacles to live up to your expectations, as well as our own.

If any of our assistants do not feel they can solve the problem, they will book you in with the optometrist or dispensing optician of your choice for a recheck.

There are many reasons why you may not be happy with your spectacles, the most common problems are new or changed prescriptions, different form or curve of lens, misinterpretation of findings or needs, or hindsight dissatisfaction with one of the options available… the list is endless. The bottom line is that we will do whatever is necessary to resolve the issue or problem. This may mean replacing the frame, replacing the lenses, adjusting or changing the prescription. Our only goal is that you are happy with what we have done.
