COVID NOTICE

In response to the coronavirus, it is essential for all individuals and businesses to take the appropriate actions to try to limit the spread of infection and to protect the most vulnerable.

Optometry practices are counted as essential, and we will be open to assist you in any way that we can in these difficult times. We would ask that anyone that needs to come to the practice makes an appointment, for track and trace purposes.

Before you arrive we ask that you ask yourself:

Am I fit and well?

Is there any risk that I or anyone accompanying me could pass on any cold/cough/infection/virus/bug to others, if there is then please stay away from the practice until you and your accompanying person are safe to others.

When you arrive at the practice the door will be locked, please knock or ring when you arrive. We are strictly limiting the number of people in the practice so you may be asked to wait outside or in your car until we feel that it is safe to invite you in.

Please bring as little baggage with you as possible, please do not bring shopping. And, if you can, ensure that you use the loo before you come to the practice as we would prefer that you did not use our loo on your visit unless essential.

Please wear a protective mask at all times when you are in the practice, we will provide type llR masks.

We will take your temperature on arrival, and we will ask you to hand sanitise whilst waiting then again wash yours hands with soap when entering the Optometrist’s room.

We have taken every step possible to ensure your safety in the present situation, and as well as the safety measures detailed above we wear appropriate PPE and have screens and cleaning protocols in place throughout the practice. These measures, along with altered working days to spread clinics out to ensure that we can provide safe distancing according to guidelines, mean that we are confident that visiting us is as safe as it can possibly be.

If there are any changes to our practices enforced by new advice, we will update you on our website and on social media (we encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram), and if you have any queries or concerns about your vision or the measures that we have put in place, do please contact us.

We look forward to seeing you!
